Buenos Aires, April 3 (NA) -- Sigrid McCawley, legal representative of Blake Lively, who had filed 13 complaints against Justin Baldoni, stated that the opposing party is now 'being held accountable' for 'the other women they attacked' previously, after the judge dismissed 10 of the accusations. As learned by the Argentine News Agency and as local media indicated, Lewis Liman, the judge intervening between the protagonists of 'It Ends With Us', dismissed the lawsuit from the multifaceted actress and rejected the allegations of supposed sexual harassment. However, the attorney shared a statement where he considered: 'This case has always focused on the devastating retaliation and extraordinary measures the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively's reputation because she advocated for safety on set, and that is the case that will go to trial.' The actress's million-dollar lawsuit against Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and the public relations team will take place next month in New York City, a process that will focus on the defamation and retaliation allegations that Lively initiated against Baldoni in December 2024. Meanwhile, McCawley emphasized: 'For Blake Lively, the greatest sign of justice is that the people and the modus operandi behind these coordinated digital attacks have been exposed; just like the other women they attacked, they are now being held accountable for it.' Online, he explained that his client 'is eager to testify at trial and continue to expose this cruel form of online retaliation so that it is easier to detect and combat it.' However, he stated that 'the sexual harassment case will not move forward, not because the defendants did nothing wrong, but because the court determined that Blake Lively was an independent contractor and not an employee.'
